Saudi cement producer Yanbu Cement Co (YCC) said its net profit for the first half of 2011 rose 6.1% YoY to SAR251m (US$66.9m).

Earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 0.96, down from SAR 1.17.

For the second quarter of 2011, YCC registered a 32.2% YoY surge in net profit to SAR149.9m.
