Zambian President Rupiah Banda today attended a ground-breaking ceremony for the US$400m Dangote Cement Factory which will be located in Masaiti District near Ndola.

The new factory will have a design capacity of 1.5Mta.

Dangote President and Chief Executive Officer, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, noted that the investment will further cement the relations between Zambia and Nigeria.
