The Bamburi cement factory in Kenya is installing a dust filter following complaints by local residents that dust was affecting them.

Managing director Hussein Mansi said the project started last month and will be completed by the end of the this month.

"We have put proper measures in place to ensure that the problem of dust to the environment is arrested completely," he said.
