Lafarge India has been awarded the first FICCI Safety Excellence Award for Manufacturing in the large scale units’ category for the Sonadih cement plant in Jharkhand.

Lafarge was selected from over 200 companies which participated in the evaluation.

The award was today handed over by the Union Minister for Labour and Employment, Mr Mallikarjun M. Kharge, to the CEO & Managing Director of Lafarge, Mr Uday Khanna.
