According to its provisional data, domestic deliveries contracted 9.8% to 890,588t during the month when compared with May.
The first six months of 2011 saw cement sales rise by 14.1% YoY to 5.514Mt. The national market fared slightly better as it showed a 15% rise to 5.388Mt.
For the full year, AFCP expects cement sales to reach 11.008Mt, a 5.2% improvement on last year’s 10.462Mt, which represented a 10.7% advance on 2009.
