Vietnam produces 30.1Mt of cement in 1H11
Cement producers in Vietnam are estimated to have manufactured 30.1Mt of cement in the first half of this year.
The figure represents a YoY increase of 14.7%, the government’s General Statistics Office said in a monthly report released late Wednesday.
In June, the country’s cement output is estimated to stand at 5.9Mt, up 28.2% YoY.
The Ministry of Construction forecasts Vietnam’s cement consumption to reach between 54.5Mt and 56Mt this year, up 9%-10% from a year earlier. Published under Cement News
