Cement production in Ukraine in May 2011 fell by 7.3 per cent to 1.06Mt  compared to the same month of the previous year, according to the State Statistics Committee. This is in contrast to April 2011 where production grew 8.2 per cent YoY.

For the first five months of 2011, cement production was 3.24Mt, up 10.7% in the same period of 2010.
Last year production was down 0.4% compared to 2009 to 9.46Mt.
