Lafarge’s business in Romania fell by 13.4 per cent last year compared to the previous, from EUR 270m  to EUR 233.7m, said Philippe Questiaux, president and CEO of Lafarge Cement Romania. The results include cement sales, with the largest share, aggregate and concrete.

Lafarge has slowed down the sales drop in Romania compared to the previous year, when the turnover decreased by 43 per cent, from EUR 480m  in 2008.
