Russian cement production in April rose by 12 per cent compared to the same month last year. For the first four months of 2011, production output rose by 16.3% YoY, reaching 12.8Mt.

The average price of cement, meanwhile, increased 3.1 per cent to RUB2247 (US$80) from the same period last year. However, compared to December 2010, the price of cement has only risen by 1.3 per cent.
