China Resources Cement Holdings Ltd, a leading cement producer in Southern China, announced yesterday that it plans to buy three cement production lines for CNY280m (US$43m) in Shanxi Province in North China, sources reported.

One of the lines is currently in operation and has a capacity of 370,000tpa of cement. The other two are under construction with a designed capacity of 1.55Mt each. They are expected to be put into operation in 2012 and 2013.
