Thang Long Cement JSC, a joint venture between the state-run Vietnam Machinery Installation Group (Lilama) and Hanoi General Export Import Corporation (Geleximco), exported 33,000t of cement to Africa May 11.
The amount was the second batch under an export contract of 50,000t of cement to Africa which was signed earlier, the Dau tu newspaper reported Monday.
The company has recognised Africa as a potential market with a high demand for construction materials. Therefore, it has been striving to export more to the market, General Director of the Company Le Do said.
