US cement shipments up 7.4% in February
Preliminary estimates released by the US Geological Survey indicate that US cement shipments in February 2011 reached 3.648Mt, 7.4% higher than in February 2010, though still some 38% below the 5-year average. After 45 months of continual decline between May 2006 and February 2010, shipments have now increased in 11 of the last 12 months. Published under Cement News
