Ukrainian producer Podilskyi Tsement plans to increase cement output by 15.3% this year, or up 0.2Mt to 1.5Mta. Podilskyi Tsement increased production volume in 2010 by 8.33% or 0.1Mt to 1.3Mt compared with 2009.

The company, a subsidiary of CRH, operates a six-kiln wet process plant in south-western Ukraine  which is currently being replaced by a state-of-the-art dry-process plant. The new kiln will have a clinker capacity of 2.5Mta and cement capacity could exceed 3Mta.
