Paraguay’s National Cement Industry (INC) has acquired a tyre shredding machine to convert tyres to fuel for its cement works.
“The tyres will be processed into 10 per cent of the total fuel needed,” Claudio Montiel, industrial manager of INC said. Tyre shredding operations are expected to begin in three months.
