West China Cement plans to construct a new 4500tpd clinker line with a 7.5MW residual heat recovery system in Hetian district of Xinjiang province.

Construction is scheduled to start in or around April 2011 and completion is scheduled for around June 2012. The total estimated capital investment cost of the proposed expansion is around CNY650m and will be funded by internal resources of the group.
