Egypt’s Alexandria Cement said it posted a 17.3 per cent rise in 2010 net profit to EGP590.9m (US$99.34m), the stock exchange said on Wednesday.

The firm, a subsidiary of Greek cement maker Titan Cement reported net profit of EGP503.6 million pounds for the year 2009.
