Holcim has become the first Mexican cement company for 11 consecutive years to receive recognition as a socially responsible company, presented at the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI) at the IV Latin American Meeting on Socially Responsible Companies.


The award was received by María Elena RuizdeChávez, Holcim’s representative from Mercedes Aragonés, President of CEMEFI.



"Holcim are proud to be a socially responsible company and contribute to development in Mexico. We know we have a commitment to the country and the Mexicans and try to honor each and every one of the actions we do, " RuizdeChávez said.
