Quan Trieu Cement Corp, an affiliate of the state-run Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin) opened its cement plant in the northern province of Thai Nguyen March 23.

The Quan Trieu cement plant has a capacity of 2000tpd of clinker or 820,000tpa of cement, the state-run Vietnam News Agency said Thursday. The Quan Trieu plant will help raise the company’s capacity to 3Mta.
