January 2011 sales in Brazil reached 4.7Mt, an increase of 9.1 per cent on the same month last year, recent data from Sindicato Nacional da Industria do Cimento (SNIC) showed.

Cumulative sales for the last 12 months (February 2010 – January 2011) reached 59.3Mt, representing an increase of 14.4% over February 2009-January 2010.
