Spanish consumption continues at minimum levels

Spanish cement consumption in January 2011 was 1.5Mt, a figure which goes back to 1988 consumption levels. Cement production, however, reached 1.6Mt, representing an increase of 7.1% compared to January 2010.  Despite this data, the figures for the cement sector remain negative. In the last 12 months production has declined just over 10% to 26Mt compared to 29Mt YoY. Published under Cement News
