In January 2011, Ukrainian cement production rose by 96.2%, compared with January 2010, to 258,000t, the State Statistics Service has informed. Cement production fell by 26.6% in January 2011 as compared to December 2010.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in 2010, cement production fell by 0.4% compared with 2009, to 9.4Mt.
