Cement sales volumes for the year were 1.16Mt, representing an improvement of 24% over sales of 930,297t in 2009.
The company stated that in 2010, cement demand in Kazakhstan reached 5.7Mt, up 14% over 2009. Imports into Kazakhstan remained stable at 21%.
In addition, Steppe Cement also stated that its market share grew to 20.3% in 2010 from 18.4% in the previous year.
