Last November, almost 800,000t of cement were sold in Colombia, amounting to an increase of 11.5 per cent over the same month of 2009. This, analysts say, confirms the good performance of the sector, and numbers are expected to rise in 2011.

Data also highlight a slight increase of 1.5 per cent in production, which rose from 800,924t to 812,574t.
