Vicat’s latest downstream acquisition
Vicat has acquired the aggregates and concrete producer Louis Thiriet & Co. that is active in the Lorraine in eastern France.
Louis Thiriet & Co. operates four pits and quarries and three ready-mixed concrete batching plants and has an annual turnover in the region of €19m. The annual aggregates production amounts to around 0.5Mt and the ready-mixed concrete volume is in the region of 100,000m³.
Vicat is set to announce its turnover for 2010 on the 2nd of February and its full results on the 2nd of March.
