The plant which has now been in service for 43 years has recently seen the repair of the limestone crusher, upgrading of a heat exchanger as well as the upgrade of a silo to improve the production and storage has helped push production to over 100,000t in 2010 much of which has been used in new housing construction following the 2008 hurricanes.
