Indonesia’s domestic cement consumption is expecting to grow six per cent in 2011 from an estimated 40Mt in 2010, the chairman of the Indonesian Cement Association (ASI) said on Tuesday.

The finance ministry sees economic growth next year at 6.4 per cent from six per cent expected in 2010.

Domestic cement consumption growth is in line with economic growth forecasts, said Urip Timuryono, chairman of the ASI.
