Vietnam Vicem Produces 24.6Mt of clinker, cement in Jan-Oct
Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation (Vicem) generated 10.3Mt of clinker and 14.3Mt of cement in the first 10 months of 2010, up 31.9% and 5.9% YoY respectively.
The figures represented 80.1% and 75.2% of the firm’s full-year targets, respectively, Vicem said on its website.
In October, Vicem produced 1.042Mt of clinker, up 21.7% YoY and 1.5Mt of cement, down 1.9%.
The corporation sold 14.3Mt of cement and 228,000t of clinker between Jan and Oct, up 5.2% and 53% on-year in turn.
Vicem held 36.1% of the domestic market share by late October.
