The chairman of the Sociedad Boliviana del Cemento (Soboce), Samuel Doria Medina, in an interview in the Erbol November 30, said that its Viacha cement factory is being affected by the lack of gas supply.



"We cannot produce that we could produce [ie to full capacity] because there is no gas. You know that gas demand in the west of the country has grown significantly. Not just because of this government.  Since 2003, the extension of the pipeline that brings gas from Tarija and Santa Cruz to the west of the country has been announced, "said Medina.
