Cement producers in Vietnam are estimated to have made 51.3Mt of cement in the first 11 months of this year, the General Statistics Office said.
The figure represented an on-year increase of 14.9%, the GSO said in a statement released late Monday.
In November, the country’s cement output was 5.5Mt, down 10.9% on-year.
The Ministry of Construction forecast Vietnam will face a cement surplus of 3.5Mt this year due to the boom of new cement plants nationwide while its cement export plans are facing difficulties. Published under Cement News
