Argos to cease clinker production at Barranquilla
From the beginning of next year, Cementos Argos will halt clinker production at its Barranquilla works, Colombia. Grinding, packing and cement deliveries, however, will continue.
The company’s president, José Alberto Velez, Argos is looking towards further developments in the region. "Ending cement production in the city is not to leave Barranquilla, on the contrary, it will strengthen the relationship. In the north of the city, there are several planning initiatives.
