According to Finnish cement manufacturer Finnsementti, sales of cement will increase by about 17% in 2010 from 2009.

According to estimates, the volume of Finland’s cement market will be about 1.7Mt in 2010, compared to about 1.4Mt in 2009. According to Customs, the value of cement imports totalled about EUR21.6m in January-August 2010, representing about one third of Finland’s cement market.
