Indonesia-based cement producer PT Semen Bosowa said it will float 20 per cent of its shares in initial public offering (IPO) next year when it plans to expand its production capacity.

The capacity expansion will increase the share price, Aksa Mahmud, the founder and owner of the company said.

The capacity expansion from 2Mt this year to 3.6Mta has been included in the business plan of the company for next year, Mahmud said.

In 2012, the capacity will be expanded again to 5Mt including 1.4Mt from its unit in Batam, he added.
