Gujarat Sidhee Cement  reported the loss for the quarter ended September 2010 has widened.  During the quarter, the loss of the company increased to INR129.24m compared with a loss of INR58.41m in the same quarter last year.

Net sales for the quarter declined 42.18% to INR504m, while total income for the quarter fell 40.11% to INR522.32m, when compared with the prior year period.

It reported loss of INR 1 a share during the quarter compared with loss of INR0 a share in the previous year period.
