Lafarge safety effort helps works scoop award, UK
Lafarge Cement’s Aberthaw Works has received a national safety award.
The cement plant was chosen to receive a Certificate of Merit in the Engineering Initiatives category of the Mineral Products Association’s annual Health and Safety Awards.
The awards gave recognition to an initiative which improves the safety for those working in the pre-heater tower, where raw materials are heated before entering the cement kiln. Published under Cement News
