YTL Cement Bhd entered into an agreement with Gopeng Bhd for the acquisition of the 35.16% interest in Perak-Hanjoong Simen Sdn Bhd for MYR200m.
At present YTL owns 64.84% of equity interest in Perak-Hanjoong and after completion the purchase, the company will wholly own Perak-Hanjoong. YTL Cement plans to fully integrate the subsidiary’s operations and create synergistic benefits to its entire company.
