Bangladesh cement manufacturer expands capacity??
Aramit Cement Limited - a unit of Bangladesh leading building material group, Aramit Group, announced that it is enhancing its cement plant capacity from 700tpd to 1000tpd in Southern Bangladesh.
Mr Jatindra Chandra Barman, General Manager of Aramit Cement, told CemNet that the work is going with full pace and hopefully plant will start production in first quarter of next year. Aramit Cement not only meets the local requirements but also exports cement to India.
The official of Aramit Cement expressed hope that demand for cement in Bangladesh will grow due to the start of number of big projects in public and private sectors.
Aramit Cement Limited was incorporated in 1995 as a public limited company, and commenced production of Ordinary Portland Cement, with the technical collaboration of a Chinese company in 1999. Published under Cement News
