Saudi cement producer Tabuk Cement Company (TCC) said yesterday it booked a net profit of SAR99.5m (US$26.5m) for the nine months to September 2010, up from SAR 95.6m a year earlier.

The earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 1.11, slightly up from SAR 1.06.

The gross profit rose to SAR 107.6m, up 5.7% on the year, while the operating profit came in at SAR 96.5m, up 7.6%.

For the third quarter of 2010, TCC registered a slight decline in net profit, to SAR23.8m from SAR24.2m in the same period last year.
