Cementos SA Yguazú will build a private port terminal on the right bank of the Paraguay River, district of Villa Hayes, Presidente Hayes department.

The approval was carried out by Decree 5218, signed by the president, Fernando Lugo, said the president of the republic.

The provision establishes that the terminal also will serve as a dock for the loading and unloading of raw materials.



He also added that once construction is finished, the company will submit to the Directorate of Merchant Marine, the relevant documents for certifying that it has set the task of building works to the technical standards that enable the authorisation and empowerment of the Port Terminal to operate legally.

This Decree shall be countersigned by Efraín Alegre Sasiaín, Minister of Public Works and Communications (MOPC). Published under Cement News
