Shree Cement to expand capacity by 7Mta, India
Shree Cement will reportedly expand its cement production capacity by 7Mt in the next five years. Company would raise the funds through internal accruals and debt.
Bangur said the company was in the process of setting up a greenfield cement plant in Karnataka. The company would invest Rs15bn to set up a cement plant, with an annual capacity of 3mn tons and the remaining Rs5bn on operationalising a 100MW power plant, adds the report.
