Iraq’s al-Mabrouka company will be building a US$200m cement factory in the country’s al-Muthanna province.

All legal requirements relating to the land contracting and transfer have been completed, according to a spokesman for the project. The new 1Mta works will be constructed by a Chinese company and is expected to come online in 30 months’ time.
