Lebanon cement deliveries rise 7.5% through July??
21 September 2010

Shipments of cement in Lebanon rose 7.5% during the first seven months of 2010 compared to the same period of 2009, according to figures released by the Bank of Lebanon (BDL).

They thus totalled 3.1Mt.

For July alone, they are down 0.4% to 517,000t delivered.

Cement supplies have recorded a steady increase during 2010. This strong growth shows that real estate was fully developed, based on a solid base already established last year.
