Italcementi has announced plans to upgrade its Rezatto plant from 2600tpd to 3000tpd and also reduce emissions by 46%.  The current two semi-dry process kilns will be replaced by a single dry-process line which will be capable of producing 1Mta.

The company has received approval from the communities of Rezzato and Mazza which have always objected to the plant being expanded beyond 3000tpd (Italcementi’s initial request was to increase capacity to 4000tpd).
