Mondi and Siam City Cement bagging project
Thailand will soon witness a highly cost effective solution for its 50kg cement packaging as Mondi and Siam City Cement (SCCC) have introduced bag made from high-porosity sack kraft paper which meets the requirements for quick, dustless filling and tough handling. Moisture barriers increase product protection and shelf life while features such as handles or easy opening optimise end-user convenience.
Mondi, the primary supply partner for sack kraft paper to Holcim globally, initiated the 50kg cement bag optimization project with SCCC in May 2010. SCCC is one of the largest cement manufacturers in South-east Asia.
