Turkey’s cement production increases to 24Mta
Turkey’s cement production increased to 24.23Mt in the January-May period of the year.
Turkish Cement Producers’ Association said on Sunday that cement production rose 12.2 per cent to 24.23Mt from 21.6Mt in the same period last year.
According to the Association, Turkey exported 28 per cent of its total production to the other countries. Turkey’s exports of cement also rose 6.2 per cent to 6.8Mt in the first five months of the year from 6.4Mt in the same period 2009.
