Preliminary data industry data and market estimates indicate that domestic cement sales over the last 12 months (August 2009-July 2010) reached 55.5Mt, representing an increase of 8.6 per cent versus the same period the year earlier (August 2008-July 2009).
 
Over the seven month period January to July, sales reached 32.8Mt, up 14 per cent YoY.
 
In July 2010, domestic market sales reached 5.2Mt, up 12.1 per cent YoY.
