The location of the plant facilitates easy access to the main markets in Western Region and all basic infrastructures are available. Due to the development within the oil sector, the general cement market expects to grow rapidly in the years to come. For the country and the region, it will be favourable to have competition among the cement operators to keep prices on an acceptable level.
All the sponsors in the project have long operational cement experience in Africa, notably in West Africa and Ghana itself, and have sufficient financial capacity to pursue this project.
