The Fijian Government could be working on setting up another cement factory in Fiji, according to Radio Fiji.

Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has invited a cement producing company from China to visit Fiji and see for themselves how they can operate here. Bainimarama says he was approached by the company and he extended the invitation to them.

He says there is a need to set up another cement factory in the country so the price of cement could decrease. Bainimarama says this could also be an opportunity for more employment.
