Barak Valley Cements to expand grinding capacity
Barak Valley Cements Ltd is to expand its existing cement grinding production capacity from 750tpd to 1350tpd.
The Delhi-based cement maker informed investors about the company’s plans to expand cement grinding capacity by installing an additional 600tpd unit at Debendra Nagar in Karimganj District in Assam.
“The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 07, 2010, resolved to expand the cement grinding production capacity of the company 750tpd to 1350tpd, by installing a new 600tpd cement grinding unit at Debendra Nagar, Jhoom Basti, Badarpur, Dist. Karimganj, Assam,” the company said in a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange. Published under Cement News
