09 August 2010

The Russian government’s sub-commission for customs tariffs has approved a draft government ruling to cancel duties on Russia’s cement exports, the government’s press service said Thursday.

The measure is expected to make Russian cement suppliers more competitive on the global markets amid falling domestic demand for cement, the press service said. The current duty amounts to 6.5%.
