During the first four months of the Iranian calendar year (started March 21) cement factories in Iran produced nearly 2Mt which is 16 per cent more than the same period the year before.

IRNA news agency stated that in the month of Tir (June 22-July 21) plants produced 5.2Mt of cement showing about 12 per cent rise compared to last year. 

During this period 19Mt of clinker was produced in the country that is 17 per cent more than the previous time span.
